According to some surveys, 1 out of 3 adults in America has high blood pressure. It is a serious condition, if untreated, it will damage the arteries, leads to many health problems including coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure etc. Yes, there are medications you can use to maintain a normal blood pressure, but, isn’t it nice that you can lower your high blood pressure by doing some simple things yourself at home without taking medicines? We have two methods here for you to try:
1: Foot massage. Press (or pinch) and massage the bottom of both feet where the toe joints are. See figure below. Do this 100 times on each foot every day.
2: Facial massage: Massage your face by sliding your thumb from the mid point between the eyebrows to the tip of the nose (one way). Use some oil for lubrication purpose.
In both cases, the pressure you apply is based on how you feel, a little painful will be sufficient.
If you can persistently do these for a while, you should find your blood pressure slowly drops to the normal level.
